Job Description
A Globally established company is looking for a successful Technical Product Manager who can bring their Fintech experience to a high performing team based in Sydney. You will play an integral part in assisting this ASX listed company enter new markets and increase value in existing products both locally and globally.
The role:
- Define Product ( cloud/premise ) requirements
- Define high level functional definitions
- Reflect the voice of the target purchasers during the technical decision making process and define criteria that validates the delivery of the value to the customer
- Guide the engineering task breakdown process
- Capture roadmap creation and development progress monitoring
- Assist in the communication of short and long term product plans with the engineering teams assigned to implement the assigned areas of responsibility within the platform
- Work alongside engineering team when required
- Occasional Travel as required to validate product and platform objectives and deliverables ( USA/Europe/UK)
Required skills:
- Proven ability to capture customer requirements and decompose these into user stories that an engineering team can understand and use to define implementation tasks
- Ability to identify unstated (i.e. implied) pain points from customers and capture these in such a way as to avoid later adoption obstacles
- Experience in Unified Communications and/or Payments markets would be highly regarded
