We are actively seeking an Account Manager to join our client, a leading player in the steel industry with a specialisation in Rebar and Reinforcement Supplies. With over a decade of established presence, our client offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with previous experience in sales, account management, or customer service within the steel sector.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee existing accounts while fostering long-term relationships with both new and established clients.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Conduct regular client visits to deepen relationships and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Drive new business development initiatives within the existing client base.
- Provide support for complex client inquiries or escalate challenging issues as necessary.
- Handle interactions with suppliers and employees professionally and courteously.
About You:
- Demonstrable experience in the steel industry, preferably in sales or account management roles.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven ability to build and nurture client relationships.
- Permanent residency or Australian citizenship is required.
