  • $43-46 ph + Super + Penalty rates + OT

Our client is a leader in the food manufacturing industry. They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join them on a full-time permanent basis.

Position Overview:

Detailed orientated Maintenance Fitter to ensure all operations of the food manufacturing equipment run smoothly and have minimal downtime to avoid production delays.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an FMCG environment, identify process improvements, and have a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices as well as Good Hygiene Practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Food Manufacturing/Processing Equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of machinery.
  • Install, repair, and maintain components of production machinery.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment inspections.

Qualifications:
  • Trade Qualification (Australian certified)
  • Minimum of 2 years of qualified experience within an industrial environment. Food manufacturing or other FMCG preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints..
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
