Job Description

Global Australian brand in the financial services domain has urgent contract opportunities for Java Developers to join their team. Ideally Sydney based but remote for the foreseeable future, you will have worked in Java 8+ and Spring Boot for the last couple of years and be open to undertake projects on your own, help others and learn new tech. The contract is highly likely to extend and run for sometime.

Role and responsibilities:

Design, implement and test new product features and platform enhancements
Work as part of an Agile Software development team and follow good software development practices (TDD, Unit Testing)
Be involved in innovation and continuous improvement
Work with cross-functional teams within an Agile project life cycle
Be active in learning about new technologies, techniques and methods

Technical experience:

Java version 8 or above
Solid Spring and Spring Boot framework skills
Hands on commercial API and integration experience
Docker, AWS (any cloud) would be well regarded but not essential
Keen interest in learning and expanding technical skills
