This role will drive visitor acquisition for the event, a vital cog in the wheel to ensure the ongoing success of the event. You will identify new business opportunities, immerse yourself in the events market and industry, and generate revenue by attracting senior business leaders to the event, where they will gain a wealth of strategic business advice that addresses global trends and market opportunities.
To be successful in this role you will need to be experienced in:
- New business sales ideally in a similar industry
- Managing your pipeline via a CRM
- Identifying new business prospects through various sources including industry association membership, networking, internet, industry publications etc
- Managing a phone based sales process from end to end
- KPI driven environments
