Job Description

  • Location: Sydney
  • Salary: 80,000 + Super
  • Fulltime – Permeant
 
Company Overview:
A trusted brand servicing individuals, families, and communities, is seeking a like-minded individual to join their team as an Audio Visual Technician, working across multiple locations in Sydney.
Reporting to the Business Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the organisation's audiovisual technology services are maintained at a high standard, catering to the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the functionality and upkeep of video conferencing and live streaming equipment.
  • Conduct research to identify opportunities for upgrading or replacing outdated AV equipment.
  • Proactively monitor the IT helpdesk and provide timely support to resolve issues.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, including architectural diagrams and schematics, to support AV designs.
  • Coordinate staff training initiatives to maintain consistent maintenance standards and skill levels across all locations.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for the procurement, servicing, and installation of AV equipment and displays.
  • Assist in the setup and operation of AV equipment for events, including digital signage, touchscreens, video conferencing, and live streaming.
 
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of AV systems and IT networks.
  • Experience in video conferencing and live streaming technologies.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and PC operations systems.
  • Strong grasp of audio and electrical theory as it pertains to AV systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and seek out support information as needed.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Possession of a full driver's license.
