A leading company that provides SaaS solution within the Transport and Logistics industries is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. Their clients are from a diverse array of industry sectors so will see you drive technology and solution value propositions in order to generate revenue opportunities and retain and grow existing key accounts.
This position will see you responsible for the following;
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understand customer needs and requirements through discovery calls
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned group
- Assist with performing effective online demos to prospects when required
To be successful in this position you will ideally have:
- Proven experience and track record of sales success driving revenue through discovering, prospecting, and creating new business.
- Experience working in a consultative capacity within Transport (3PL or distributor)
- Knowledge of SaaS sales process, key competitors and industry trends.
- Knowledge in advanced sales methodologies and tools to achieve and exceed your targets.
