This large healthcare client is looking for multiple Application Managers/Support Team leads to join their team.  In this role you will be leading a team of Application Support Engineers who support a large range of applications. You will be mentoring and supporting the team in their development and growth, and attending leadership meetings to support the overall digital strategy.
 

In this role some of your responsibilities would be:
 
  • Plan, develop, organise and guide the activities across the Applications and Integration Portfolio teams, in accordance with accepted policies, standards and architecture.
  • Prepare and manage the Application and Integration services operational plans in line with the strategic plan.
  • Manage and partner with external service providers, involved in the provision of Applications and Integration services, including performance to contract, licenses and service level deliveries.
  • Prepare and manage the Application, Online & Integration BAU projects in line with the Digital & Technology strategic plan and prioritise backlog of business requirements.
  • Monitor and report on the quality of services delivered, communicating major service outages / and escalating to the relevant internal and external stakeholders (24 x 7) through the approved processes
  • Manage, maintain, and participate (as required) in the Applications and Integration Portfolio on-call roster.
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate the performance of direct reports
 
To be successful for this role:

 Deep understanding of Applications and Integration within a an enterprise environment or similar, including a detailed understanding of the business processes which they enable.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a web-based service and technology environment where web-based support programs and tools were a key component to service delivery.
  • Detailed knowledge in the management of applications in a Data/Cloud/Services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional internal and external customer care.
  • Proven experience in managing an Enterprise Application Services department, or similar team in a SaaS/Web based systems environment.
  • Experience in the management of package based application service providers.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management including capacity to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with highly developed communication skills.
  • Leadership and stakeholder management skills complemented by sound judgement, intellectual rigor, resilience and integrity.
  • Strong technical, strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
 
This is a role in healthcare, supporting healthcare applications so experience in this space is desirable. You will also need to have full Australian working rights.
