Our client is looking for a junior warhouse supervisor working within a Bakery. The role requires someone who has a minimum of 1-2 years of local experience and preferably comes from a food/FMCG background. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient functioning of our warehouse operations and ensuring accurate management of inventory

- Oversee the fulfillment of orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery to various departments within the bakery.
- Implement and maintain an organized inventory system to track stock levels, expiration dates, and product rotations across warehouse, stores, and Freezer.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Dry Good picked and packed daily for stores and when required to assist with chilled product picking.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the warehouse, including machinery, equipment, storage areas, and work processes.
- You will be required to work in the warehouse, Chiller, Freezer and Office and at times be required to drive to stores, suppliers and or Marrickville Bakehouse.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a warehouse (Working within the food manufacturing/FMCG industry is preferred but not essential
- Given the perishable nature of bakery products, a keen attention to detail is essential to maintain quality and prevent wastage.
- Forklift Ticket
- Full Australian Working rights (Citizenship or Permanent Resident)
