Job Description

Test Analyst - 6 Month Contract - Sydney, Australia - Onsite Full time 

We are working with a client who is seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join their team on a 6 month contract opportunity with a good chance of extension. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software testing with a focus on CRM or ERP systems and comfortable in high paced environments. The role will involve system integration testing, User acceptance testing and API testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct system integration testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of CRM/ERP systems.
  • Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Support user acceptance testing by assisting stakeholders in validating system functionality and ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Utilise strong API testing skills to test integrations between CRM/ERP systems and external applications using tools such as SOAP UI and Postman.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Document test results, defects, and issues, and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on CRM/ERP systems.
  • Proven experience working in high-paced environments with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Strong system integration testing  experience, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Experience supporting user acceptance testing and collaborating with business stakeholders to validate system functionality.
  • Proficiency in API testing using tools such as SOAP UI and Postman, with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Based in Sydney, Australia, and hold Permanent Residency or citizenship.
  • Able to work from the office 5 days a week.
