This is a great opportunity for a strong SQL developer to showcase their technical capability working on complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop PL/SQL code Data Access Layers for application
- Develop application improvements and implement data exchange processes
- Provide advice and support on system integration, capability, scalability and multiple platforms
- Generate and modify database object scripts (DML/DDL)
- Create RESTful APIs with databases
- Design databases for OLTP vs OLAP workloads
- Establish and maintain application standards and processes
- Provide post implementation and on-going production support
Essential skills:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in similar role
- T-SQL, PL/SQL - Advanced level in writing complex queries
- Extensive industry experience in - SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL
- Has worked with MS BI stack - SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI
- Programming language - Java, Ruby, C, C++
- Agile / Scrum practices
- Domain: Finance, banking, insurance, cards and payment will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written communications
- Good time management, great attention to details and solid problem-solving skillset
