- $100k - $120k + super – not flexible to 130k plus at this stage
We are looking for experienced Microsoft SQL developer for a significantly large multi-
million-dollar program for a Tier 1 banking client based in Australia. There are a number of
projects as part of the build out of Treasury function which require highly experienced SQL
developers with sound data analysis skills.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will fulfil the following responsibilities -
- Participate in requirements analysis, familiarize with existing code base and understand
- Translate data requirements to technical solutions
- Write clean, scalable code/stored procedures in MS SQL.
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Respond to requests from business / stakeholders and record them in timely fashion using
- Perform advanced database queries using SQL
- Resolution of assigned tasks in a timely fashion and escalation where necessary.
- Maintain and follow appropriate standards.
Mandatory Skills Description:
- Junior to Mid-Level SQL Development – 1 to 6 years exp Max as a SQL Developer in a
- Microsoft environment with a max of 10 – 15 years’ work experience max in total
– either ok
- The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of data analysis and writing advance
will have exceptional technical, analytical and operational skills.
- Excellent understanding of data analysis skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Able to investigate, analyse and troubleshoot
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Treasury function or exposure to loans, interest rates, balance sheet related
