The Opportunity:
Lead UX Designer will be responsible for delivering the best online user experience based on user research insight. This role is responsible for delivering an outstanding user interface and providing an exceptional and intuitive application design for our digital platform. Be part of something incredible and make your mark! This opportunity can be either contract (day rate) or a perm full-time opportunity. Based in Melbourne or potentially remote!
What you'll be doing:
- Investigating user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets.
- Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the digital platform.
- Carrying out specific renderings and visual design and process design according to prototype(including primary and secondary interface stylization, web page layout, icon designs, etc.).
- Planning and implementing new designs that combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements.
- Optimizing existing user interface designs.
- Conducting tests for intuitiveness and experience.
- Developing technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions.
- Testing new ideas and elements before implementing.
- Collaborating with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
- Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior.
- Conducting ongoing user research.
- Leading the UX team and provide ongoing support and direction
What we need from you:
- 3-5 years experience of mobile or web mobile design experience.
- A strong portfolio showing the breadth of digital design capabilities.
- Familiar with Web, iOS, Android UI design rules.
- Good understanding of international UI design specifications
- Ability to evaluate time requirements and possess problem-solving skills
- Extremely organised with a high attention to detail and can produce high quality work under tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced and fun workplace.
