Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Crafting and executing comprehensive test strategies for web applications, covering various testing types.
- Active involvement in all testing phases, from system to user acceptance testing.
- Identifying and documenting software defects, ensuring timely resolution and communication with development teams.
- Collaborating with product managers, developers, and designers to understand project requirements and provide testing insights.
- Analysing web application performance metrics and user feedback for optimisation.
- Ensuring client satisfaction by aligning with business requirements and processes.
- Reviewing and assessing the quality of product features.
- Providing documentation and product demonstrations.
- Collaborating with developers for issue research and resolution.
- Proactively escalating risks and issues within established frameworks.
- Keeping abreast of the latest testing tools and techniques, suggesting process enhancements.
- Active participation in Agile ceremonies and contributing to process improvement.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement through feedback and suggestions.
- 5+ years of software testing experience, ideally within financial services.
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
- Hands-on experience in website and device testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a flexible environment.
- Exposure to Cloud environments, particularly AWS.
- Automation testing experience using tools like Selenium, Java, etc.
- Experience in Accounting/Auditing processes.
