Job Description
In this role you will play a pivotal part in enhancing and maintaining their flagship product, driving innovation in game audio technology. You will collaborate closely with their passionate team of developers to deliver cutting-edge tools and run-time code that empowers game developers to unleash their creativity.
The office is based in Melbourne and you will be required to attend at least 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain tools and run-time code for their product
- Enhance existing functionality, add new features, debug faults, and optimize performance to ensure product stability and efficiency
- Work independently and collaboratively to drive continuous improvement and innovation in game audio technology
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth
- Strong proficiency in C++ programming – 5+ years
- UI/UX sensibilities to contribute to user-friendly design
- Familiarity with other languages and technologies such as Qt, C#, Python and JS
- Experience in game development (Unity/Unreal) and/or audio technology
- Prior experience in mobile or game development is a plus
