Job Description

  • Galston NSW 
  • $75,000-90,000k + Super (Dependant on experience)
  • Monday-Friday with occasional weekends 
  • ASAP Start

We have multiple roles across Sydney working within the Food Manufacturing industry. Both roles require an experienced Quality Assurance Officer who has a minimum of 2-3 years of local experience and preferably comes from a food science background. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance systems on a full-time permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance systems and protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes, facilities, and products.
  • Lead, mentor, and train the QA team to uphold quality standards and best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including customer complaints and non-conformances.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and supply chain, to drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on quality metrics, findings, and corrective actions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control within the food manufacturing/FMCG industry. (Background in meat/poultry manufacturing preferred but not essential)
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP & GMP.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Full Australian Working rights (Citizenship or Permanent Resident)
