- $50 ph + Super + OT
- Full-time Permanent Basis

Our client is an innovative and sustainable company who are actively seeking a hard-working and skilled plant operator.
You will be responsible for all the maintenance work, running diagnostics, and assisting with repairing mechanical systems as well as routine maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Able to read blueprints, and manufacturer manuals to understand how repairs are to be conducted
- Implement a maintenance schedule and perform system maintenance accordingly.
- Conduct diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems to determine the root cause of the malfunction.
- Replace damaged or defective components as needed.
- Create accurate record logs of what parts need to be ordered
- Adhere to all work-site safety rules and regulations.
Requirements and skills:
- Trade qualified - Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, Fitter or any other relevant qualification
- Proven experience working on plant and equipment.
- The ability to interpret manuals for mechanical systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Some knowledge or experience with electrical componentry interfacing is desirable
