Job Description
My client is a boutique software development organisation based in Melbourne CBD. They have a unique opportunity for a solid Mobile Application Developer to join on a permanent basis in their growing team.
Essential skills:-
Minimum 2 years’ experience with Native Android Development using Java/Android Studio for a mobile app that supports:-
- Local data storage using SQLite
- Push Notifications using FCM
- User authentication and data exchange with web API using Json
- Collection of GPS location data
- Photo capture
- Foreground services
Must have the equivalent level of experience to develop and maintain equivalent level of IOS applications as well as new applications which will support field applications with real-time server side synchronisation.
Bonus requirements:-
- Xamarin Android experience is highly regarded as we are at a crossroads from a decision perspective to progress with Xamarin or migrate from Xamarin to native.
- Foreground service compatible with SDK 26+ (this will resolve the issue with SDK 26 – Android v8)
- NET local data storage
