Job Description
My client is a remote first company within the fin-tech space who are building the best tax software. They have one of the best engineering teams with challenging problems to solve for their clients. Within the role you will take ownership over business requirements and deliver them across the full stack. Built on React, TypeScript, Express.js, MongoDB, Node.js. You will be writing easily maintainable code that transforms complex business requirements into elegant, performant solutions. All engineers have exposure to the full stack, leaning either heavily into the front-end or back-end.
What you'll do:
- Work as a Full Stack Engineer across React, TypeScript, Express.js, MongoDB, Node.js.
- Collaborate with the whole team including product to work on new features.
- Own features end-end with development
- Work with junior engineers to help provide mentoring
- Have a proficient understanding of React, TypeScript, Express.js, MongoDB, Node.js.
- Over 3 years commercial experience as a Software Engineer
- Experience with AWS
- Minimum Bachelor level qualification in software engineering or related field
- Experience with a functional programming language is a plus
