Working for one of Australia's most well known financial institutions based in the Sydney CBD. You will be working on one of the biggest projects implemented by the business as a Senior Java Engineer on a 6 Month Contract (view to extend)
The Role
Once in this role, you will be working closely to a Blockchain project which is dealing with a particular financial domain. Day to day you will be developing using Java 8, Springboot, Microservices, Rest APIs and further products such as Docker and Akka actor framework. This is an incredibly important project so you will be a key hire with a huge amount of opportunity to be influential within the business.
The Requirements
For this role, he is looking for a Senior Java developer with the following experience;
- 5+ Years in Java Development (ideally in Java 8)
- Solid experience in Springboot, Microservices, Docker and RestAPIs
- Experience working in the banking and financial domain (trading will be preferred)
- If you have experience with Akka actor framework or Kafka streams that would be incredibly handy
- You need full working rights within Australia
