Job Description
Our top-tiered Banking client are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join their Platform Management team.
Role:
- Support the maintenance of Java applications within the Platform Management team
- Help uplift the team's capability with the latest Java/Cloud technologies
- Agile development approach with a good attitude open to "pitching in" when required
- Provide production support for various different applications including out of hour on call rosters
- Work collaboratively to understand and implement system requirements
Key Skills:
- Solid Core Java development experience -version 8 is preferable
- Micro services, Spring Boot, Cloud technologies beneficial
- Understanding of frontend technologies e.g. Angular, React
- Financial industry project experience a plus
- Team player, collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
This is an initial 6 month contract which is likely to extend due to the project pipeline in place.
