Job Description
Cairns accounting firm which has been operating for nearly 20 years. Seeking highly motivated employee looking to build their accounting career. You will work closely with other team members and develop expertise and provide great service to the firm's clients.
Responsibilities
- Business Services: ASIC compliance, prepare financial statements, budgets & forecasts, formation & advice on business structure, sales assistance through accounting software
- Taxation Services: general & specialist advice, prepare tax returns, BAS, IAS, PAYG preparation and advice, business registration for GST, PAYG & FBT
- Superannuation Services: formation of SMSF, specialist advice, preparation of financial statements and returns
- Audit services: trust account audits, non-for-profit audits and SMSF audits
Skills & experience
- 2 years practice experience
- CPA/CA qualified (or in progress)
- Proven record of working autonomously & part of a team
