Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user-facing features for web applications using HTML, C#, .NET, CSS, and JavaScript. Including front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Contribute to and translate design mock-ups into performant and clean web interfaces.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility of web applications.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of front-end code to identify and fix issues.
- Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic and databases.
- Participate in code reviews and provide and receive constructive feedback to team members.
- Maintain documentation for front-end code and development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems encountered by users.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and optimize user interfaces
- Integrate spatial data into Microsoft platform
About you
- Strong attention to detail, a passion for UX, and a solid understanding of front-end development best practices.
- An individual who excels in navigating ambiguity, thrives as a technical leader, and demonstrates creativity in problem-solving. They will lead by example, driving forward-thinking solutions and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- The ideal candidate possesses proficiency in a range of programming languages, development frameworks and technologies. (e.g: HTML, C#, .NET, CSS and JavaScript.)
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Understanding of Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Cosmos DB for data storage and retrieval in the context of back-end development for web applications.
- Significant experience as a lead developer, leading technically challenging projects at the forefront of technology innovation in a creative production environment.
- Strong understanding of web standards and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with form validation techniques and best practices.
- Experience with tools & processes such as continuous integration, Github, git, Jira, and Confluence
- Experience in leveraging Azure cloud services for front-end development, including integrating front-end applications with Azure databases, utilizing Azure services for data storage and retrieval, and optimizing front-end performance for cloud-based environments.
- Experience in the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, with a track record of designing, developing, and implementing solutions that streamline business processes, automate workflows, and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience leading and implementing best practices across a development team including CI/CD, testing, accessibility, and version control (e.g. Git).
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders and responding to business requirements with strong communication skills to create exceptional user experiences.
Location and Commitments
- Full-time hybrid role based in Melbourne, Victoria.
- Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of being in the office three days per week and to occasional on-site client meetings.
