Business Development Manager - Luxury Hotel 
Sydney CBD 
$90,000 + Super + Commission

Our Client, a prestigious luxury hotel situated in the heart of Sydney CBD, renowned for its exceptional service and exquisite amenities is expanding their team. This esteemed establishment is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in driving revenue growth within the hospitality industry, building long-lasting partnerships, and implementing innovative sales strategies. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the hotel's continued success and uphold its reputation as a premier destination for luxury hospitality in Sydney.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other stakeholders
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with key accounts to secure business and maintain long-term partnerships
  • Drive sales efforts to achieve revenue targets and maximise occupancy rates
  • Provide a proactive approach to sales, develop sales action plans to target groups and MICE business
  • Acts as the point of contact for clients, highly contributing to business generation, ensuring that all direct sales activities align with the sales strategies and that both individual and hotel goals are met to maximise revenue
  • Occasionally travel for conventions and clients 
Requirements:
  • 2 years + experience in a similar Sales, Account Management, or BDM role in luxury hotels and resort space
  • Highly organised individual, with a love for relationship building, building relationships and bringing on new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Great understanding of sales processes
  • Must have full working rights in Australia
