The Company
A well known Australian FinTech Company based in Central Sydney. Their ever-expanding technology team is looking for an Application Support Engineer. They have a highly specialized team and are looking for their next top candidate to join their team. This will be a 6 Month contract role with the view to go permanent.
The Role
This is an Application Support Engineer where you will be involved in various responsibilities, including;
- Providing Level 2 Application Support to the internal users
- Using Python for Automation
- Demonstrating leadership qualities for the more junior members of the team
The Skill Set
For this role, the client is looking for the following skill set;
- 4 + Years in an Application Support
- Splunk and/ or Datadog or other monitoring tools
- Hands on experience with AWS
- Excellent communication skills
- Automation knowledge using Java, Go or Python is also beneficial
- Personality is a big one for this role; they want someone who is extremely passionate about the business, someone who cares about the work that they do and wants to be challenged every day at work.
This is a 6 Month contract role, with the view to extend or move to permanent. The daily rate will be around $600 a day.
