Instead of paying the whole fee in one lump sum, the recruitment fee is split over three instalments for more effective cash flow management:
⅓ of fee on job brief
⅓ of fee on acceptance of our shortlist
⅓ of fee on acceptance of offer
Upfront payment and working exclusively with Sirius People enables us to prioritise your role(s) and to allocate a dedicated team to source the best possible shortlist of candidates through our network and to headhunt from in-depth market mapping. It means we are able to present the strongest shortlist to you.
Working on a retained basis means our team is 100 per cent dedicated to your role, we are able to assign a dedicated team to headhunt the top active and passive candidates in the market.
By working exclusively with us as a retained client, your opportunity sounds more appealing to candidates as they aren’t being approached by multiple recruiters with varying briefs on the role. It also enables you to keep confidential roles confidential. We are able to support you in elevating and controlling your employer brand in the market.
As a client, if you work with multiple agencies there is no consistency on how candidates are screened, assessed or briefed on your role. This approach ends up being more time-consuming.
Whether you’re restructuring the business, creating a new position or appointing a key hire, you will have access to our competency-based online assessment that identifies top performers and underpins our recruitment process.
This ensures that we are also recruiting against the key competencies required for the role, and provide you with targeted interview questions from their profile.

As part of our retained service, we also offer an extended guarantee period. In the unlikely event that you’re not happy with the candidate, we will source a replacement candidate for the same role free of charge. To date, we have had a 100% success rate from our retained services.
Finding someone with the right competencies and who will contribute to your company culture takes resources and time — at least 49 hours to be exact! And that’s if you get it right the first time!
The cost of your full week’s wage, along with the cost of hours lost of onboarding and training plus the intangible impact it has on your team’s morale (and subsequent employee retention) is less than our retainer fee. Our extended 6-month guarantee also ensures that you’re not starting from square one again if your employee does not work out — we’ll find that perfect person for you, as part of our initial fee.
