It's our 16 year anniversary!

We're excited to be celebrating another year of supporting people success! Sirius People first began as a boutique Technology recruitment company in a small, second bedroom in Coogee in 2003 and has since grown into a national company with five divisions. By remaining true to our Values of SIMPLE FC — Simplicity, Integrity, Mastery, Persistence, Leadership, Empowerment, Fun & Collaboration — we have been able to consistently deliver excellent service to our clients and candidates.

While our Values drive us, we wouldn't have been able to achieve this without your ongoing support! Thank you to all of our clients who have partnered with us over the last 16 years, and all of our candidates who have allowed us to help them build their careers. 

For many of our consultants, the main draw of working in recruitment is helping people every day. To us, we're not just finding a job for an individual or filling a role for a client — we're supporting people's success. And this dedication extends beyond our offices.

Since our company began, Sirius People has empowered the team to give back to the community and raise awareness and funds for the causes we are passionate about. It's why some of our team members will be running the Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon on May 19th to raise funds for Hands Across The Water for our 16-year anniversary.

Hands Across The Water is a charitable organisation that was originally formed in response to the countless Thai children who were left homeless and alone by the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami. Since then, it continues to work with at-risk Thai children and communities to meet the community's long-term needs. 

Best of all, 100% of donations go directly to the kids and their communities. No donations go toward administration, staff costs, marketing or fundraising in Australia.

The charity has recently relaunched their fashion, corporate merchandise, and craft line, Hands Designs. All of the products are hand made by the local community and staff of the home, with 100% of the proceeds being funnelled back into the home to ensure sustainable revenue source, and skills training and future employment options available for the children who choose not to go to university.

We will be collecting donations to go toward Hands Designs and donating an additional 16% on top of all funds raised.
