An organic agency with amazing projects going on, is looking for a creative Web Developer (permanent full time) to join a passionate team of Designers and Account Managers.
You'll be joining a fantastic, relaxed team where you'll be responsible for bringing all their ideas to life using a range of technologies including WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and more.
Projects will range from Websites, ROI pages, eDMs and everything in between so the experience to work across multiple projects is required. They'd love you to have excellent design aesthetic to communicate effectively with the designers and create appealing digital assets for their diverse client list across retail, property, sports & corporate.
The role leans on harnessing a range of front-end web development technologies and design capabilities, to steer, build, customise and bring to life pixel perfect developments from pre-designed Adobe XD prototypes. Being heavily dependant on WordPress, an advance level of skill is required to strategically finish developments on-time and comfortably. Additionally, advance HTML5 and CSS3 coding, as well as being strong with databases, cPanel, APIs etc is essential. Professional experience within content management and development are key, as to transfer pre-designed formats into web-ready results without losing quality or impact.
In addition for "The New Role" there will be much more of a lean on leading and overseeing the web development arm. The idea is to enhance the quality of output, approach and use of technologies, as well as bring the experience to assist in crafting a refined build process in order to become more efficient. There will be opportunity to fully drive new web projects whilst collaborating with concept, content development, user experience, through to properly mapping development stages and devising expert deployment/SEO/traffic-flow/conversion techniques and methods for optimum on-going success. Because of this a background in design and marketing, as well as web, will help fulfil the role, ensuring all round success and execution.
With potential scope of working with larger clients down the line, providing full-custom (from scratch) WordPress solutions, the role requires knowledge to strategically orchestrate a bespoke range of WordPress specific CMS and development methods. In-depth web development insight and key leadership qualities are essential to head and manage a growing dev team whilst also being able to cross pollenate with design, content and account management divisions.
Salary: $80-100k plus super per annum (depending on experience)
