Job Description
Scope of responsibilities:
- Coordinate all WHS activities onsite
- Review and monitor and maintain Health & Safety plans ensuring they are complaint with legislation
- Monthly reporting on WHS compliance and audit as required
- Coordinate and run monthly WHS meetings, and taking minutes
- Assist in the processing of workers compersation claims, ensuring all relevant documentation is obtained
- Ensure that all employees have the correct PPE, addressing those who are not compliant
- Ensure that all machines are tested and tagged and in good working condition
- Coordinating weekly toolbox meetings and liaising with managers accordingly
- Liaising with external WHS insepectors, advisors and bodies to perform inspections
- Relevant qualifications (mandatory)
- Superior administartion skills
- Intermediate - Advanced Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Experience in interpreting and applying WHS legislation
- Proven ability to provide accurate, considered and timely claims and injury management advice
- The ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
