Job Description
As a crucial role for our client, reporting to the Program & Change Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating and executing user experience research activities, and the overall coordination of the outputs to assist decision making and ensure the main product and innovation teams place customers and users first.

Major responsibilities / duties
- Coordination of UX research activities
- Execution of UX research activities (practical focus - workshops, planning, UT, IA/card sorting, secondary research review, conduct generative research etc.)
- Assist in building competency within the wider product and project teams
- Work closely with Product Managers to validate concepts
- Stakeholder engagement (internal/external)
- Structure and centralize existing research to ensure transparency and completeness
- Deliver actionable insights
- Working to a continuous improvement framework
- Support the UX Lead as required (UI design tasks etc.)
- Benchmark, analyse, report on and make recommendations for the improvement of new systems and processes within the team
- Other tasks as required
Qualifications, skills & attributes
- 2-4 years' experience in a UX role with research being a key focus, in a corporate environment.
- Formal qualifications in UX, design, IT or similar. Exposure to psychology at a tertiary level highly regarded
- Strong understanding of research methods (Qual/Quant/Behavioural etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge in accessibility and UX design principles
- Strong understanding of user centred design/design thinking
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
- Experimental nature - thinks like a detective!
- Strong understanding of common analytics and benchmarking
- Experience working with agile rhythms an advantage
- Professional development focussed (trends within the industry and market)
