We are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to be a part of a multinational business that is proud of their position in the marketplace.
Located in Bankstown, this leading manufacturer of packaging would be a perfect match if you are someone who enjoys to take ownership and accountability of your role with a strong work ethic! Working alongside a small team your main responsibilities will be to look after supply planning, procurement, demand management, and inventory management in support of the Supply Chain Manager.
Scope of responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of finished goods
- Analyse reports and ensure stock is maintained and selling
- Manage purchase orders and ensure lead times are accurate within system
- Liaise with overseas suppliers and manage performance
- Monitor inventory and stock levels - analyse and adjust accordingly
- Problem solve demand requirements and procurement response
- Liaise with sales staff to understand sales moving forward
- Enter sales forecast for supply/purchasing plan
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in purchasing/inventory
- Intermediate - advanced Excel skills
- The ability to take feedback and guidance well
- A proactive 'can-do' attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think fast 'on your feet'
- Superior time management with strong multitasking abilities
