- You will configure backup jobs based on a backup policy.
- Be responsible for the SQL Server on VMs to Azure blobs.
- Experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL development, administration, operation (HA and DR setups) and maintenance in Azure IaaS and PaaS - Essential
- Index and Statistics maintenance, integrity checks configured on SQL Servers with agent jobs.
- Configure alerts, monitoring on Azure PaaS databases.
- Setup auditing on Azure PaaS production databases.
- Add one application database (Azure SQL DB) and DW database (SQL database on SQL Server VM) to SQL database projects and setup a Azure DevOps deployment pipeline. Make sure all reference dependencies are added and clean up any orphaned objects.
- Automation of deploying SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
You will need:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification or relevant work experience
- Demonstrated experience in SQL DBA role within IT/Application Support
- Advanced skills in SQL
- Experience with automation
- Proficient in Microsoft Business intelligence tech stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS SQL)
- Must have Configuration experience
- Relevant experience in a similar role
