Job Description
You will be working for one of Australia's leading fund management businesses. They are now incredibly well established, managing funds of over $12 Billion. Over the past 2 years, they have invested heavily their technology and now working with the latest versions of everything in their infrastructure.
The Role
As one of the only technologists within the business here in Sydney, you will need to be a senior systems engineer. Day-to-day, as the only infrastructure engineer in Sydney, you will be responsible for responding to the tickets from the users within the organisation in Sydney, and also looking after any projects underway. You will be dealing directly with the stakeholders face to face and over the phone. This is an awesome environment for you to be working in a high tech environment where the management team invest heavily in the technical environment
The Requirements
For this senior position, the client is looking for:
- Excellent communication skills is KEY
- History of working in Senior Systems/ Infrastructure Engineering
- Extensive knowledge of; Windows 10, Citrix, VMWare (6+ Years minimum)
- Background knowledge of infrastructure architecture is a huge plus
- ELM is highly beneficial (Enterprise Layer Manager)
