Job Description
Role and responsibilities:
- Produce detailed network designs from high-level designs and road maps
- Implementation of network designs and transition to operational standards
- Provide recommendations to integrate new technologies and equipment without impacting highly low latency systems
- Use knowledge across a broad range of technologies, including security, network, storage, servers, voice system, wireless and end-user computing
- Assist in projects to deliver infrastructure on time and within budget
- Help the operational teams and provide troubleshooting on all types of networked services
- Produce the build documents aligned with detailed network designs. update Network processes, procedures and standards
Skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in Avaya Network Switches
- CISCO, Palo Alto, Arista and Cumulus network technologies
- 10 years’ experience in data centre technology environment
- In-depth experience of WAN, LAN, Security and Internet technologies
- Leaf Spring experience desirable
- Knowledge of and adherence to ITIL change management and quality assurance systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
