What's on offer
A vacancy for a Senior Java developer has become available due to expanding requirements. This is a 6 month contract where you will be working within an immediate team of 4-6 developers enhancing and building new features for existing products.
About the company
My client is a well-known financial services company who provide superannuation & investment products, insurance, banking and financial advice.
Environment:
The team operates a SCRUM based Agile approach including daily stand-up meetings, story-boards and user -stories, iterations, retrospectives etc working working on a variety of items in the backlog
Must haves:
- Core Java programming and Java 8
- Understanding of high availability design
- Spring, Hibernate
- SQL Server (stored procedures and database design)
- Agile
- Angular 2 onwards (currently on Angular 6)
Nice to haves
- Oracle and Portal development
- AWS
- CI/CD with Jenkins, Octopus, Bamboo etc.
