- Key technical role within a large Data Integration team
We are looking for an individual who has worked extensively with Business Objects as a core tool. An individual with a strong stakeholder engagement and worked in an Agile and complex integration environment will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Business Object servers and user administration
- Perform analysis on various data sources to generate customer insights
- Provide recommendation for process redesign, continuous improvement and capability uplift initiative
- Assist and work closely with business owners and stakeholder across functional teams to understand requirements, design and develop data-driven solutions
- Involve in Power BI reporting design and development
- Facilitate user acceptance testing, and be part of the resolution team
- Support the implementation of regular maintenance activities and projects
Essential Skillset:
- Minimum 8 years' of experience with Data Warehouse or Data Visualisation in large / complex data integration environment
- Must have minimum of 3 years exposure in Business Objects - reporting, server and user administration
- Practical experience working with other Data Visualisation tools - Power BI, Tableau, QlikView etc.
- ETL tools - Informatica, Talend, DataStage
- Commercial exposure to AWS, Hadoop, Kimball Data Warehousing
- Programming language - Hive, Python, Java, Visual Basic etc
- Database technologies - Oracle, SQL Server, Redshift
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Strong stakeholder engagement across a variety of functional and project teams
