About the role

In this role you will contribute towards the success of a well-known and respected B2B exhibition. You will develop a deep understanding of the industry trends and proactively seek out new business partnerships (space & sponsorship) through research, networking and phone / f2f sales and always be representing the company in a professional.

Role responsibilities

  • Achieve set revenue targets for space and sponsorship targets
  • Attend relevant industry related networking events
  • Generate and follow up on leads
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database
  • Actively participate in sales team meetings
  • Preparation and delivery of weekly and monthly sales progress reports to key stake holders
  • Assist in creation and executing sales networking events
  • Actively contribute to internal sales strategies
  • Work onsite at the event and act as a first point of contact for all exhibitors and sponsors
  • Ensure that any issues are dealt with in a timely and professional manner
  • Continually developing mutually beneficial relationships with all clients
  • Re-sign exhibitors for following years show
  • Attend all post show reviews
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to come up with new innovative ideas
  • Always be representing the company is a professional and positive way

About you

  • 1-2 years sales experience in events, media or advertising
  • Superior standards of customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated proactive individual
  • Proven history of securing new business through over the phone
  • Track record of achieving revenue targets
  • Experience selling in a to face-to-face environment
  • Ability to gain trust and build relationships
  • Competitive and passionate nature
