- $65,000 - $75,000 base + rewarding commission structure

About the role
In this role you will contribute towards the success of a well-known and respected B2B exhibition. You will develop a deep understanding of the industry trends and proactively seek out new business partnerships (space & sponsorship) through research, networking and phone / f2f sales and always be representing the company in a professional.
Role responsibilities
- Achieve set revenue targets for space and sponsorship targets
- Attend relevant industry related networking events
- Generate and follow up on leads
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database
- Actively participate in sales team meetings
- Preparation and delivery of weekly and monthly sales progress reports to key stake holders
- Assist in creation and executing sales networking events
- Actively contribute to internal sales strategies
- Work onsite at the event and act as a first point of contact for all exhibitors and sponsors
- Ensure that any issues are dealt with in a timely and professional manner
- Continually developing mutually beneficial relationships with all clients
- Re-sign exhibitors for following years show
- Attend all post show reviews
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to come up with new innovative ideas
- Always be representing the company is a professional and positive way
About you
- 1-2 years sales experience in events, media or advertising
- Superior standards of customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated proactive individual
- Proven history of securing new business through over the phone
- Track record of achieving revenue targets
- Experience selling in a to face-to-face environment
- Ability to gain trust and build relationships
- Competitive and passionate nature
