About the Opportunity:
We're working with a leading digital company in Sydney, currently seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of cutting-edge applications across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute test scenarios for functional and acceptance testing based on project requirements.
- Identify, log, and track defects while collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
- Work with business stakeholders to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and sign-off on requirements.
- Assist with production deployments by performing post-release quality checks.
- Perform cross-platform testing on various devices, browsers, and operating systems, utilizing automation tools where necessary.
- Develop comprehensive test strategies for large-scale migration and integration projects.
- Partner with the development team to understand testing needs and estimate effort.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance, including automation.
- Strong knowledge of QA best practices, Agile methodologies, and software delivery principles.
- Experience working on application testing for both mobile and web applications.
- Experience working with business users for UAT testing.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman, or similar tools.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Testrail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially with complex backend systems.
- Experience setting up test processes and frameworks from scratch.
