Your Role:
  • Enable data to be used as a product by internal and external stakeholders
  • Co-design a data roadmap to be delivered across the data platform
  • Design Architecture that is built to scale
  • Be at the cutting edge for new toolsets/methods to improve data ingestion, storage, and data access in the analytics platform
  • Provide leadership, guidance and technical mentoring to engineering teams, including code reviews to uplift capability and skills
You will need:
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification in IT of equivalent industry experience
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining a Data Platform and Cloud Infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience defining, maintaining large scale Enterprise Data Platforms
  • Proven experience in Senior Technical Leadership roles with some people mentoring
  • Proficient in multiple technical languages ie/ Python
  • Solid understanding and experience measuring non-functionals – reliability, availability, security and performance.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating discussions with technical and non-technical audiences
