- Enable data to be used as a product by internal and external stakeholders
- Co-design a data roadmap to be delivered across the data platform
- Design Architecture that is built to scale
- Be at the cutting edge for new toolsets/methods to improve data ingestion, storage, and data access in the analytics platform
- Provide leadership, guidance and technical mentoring to engineering teams, including code reviews to uplift capability and skills
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in IT of equivalent industry experience
- Proven experience developing and maintaining a Data Platform and Cloud Infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience defining, maintaining large scale Enterprise Data Platforms
- Proven experience in Senior Technical Leadership roles with some people mentoring
- Proficient in multiple technical languages ie/ Python
- Solid understanding and experience measuring non-functionals – reliability, availability, security and performance.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating discussions with technical and non-technical audiences
