Job Description

A very dynamic and passionate software development team, with long and very successful history in the Australian IT market, is urgently looking for a passionate and highly energetic PHP Developer (Mid-level or Senior) with solid professional experience to join their team.

Salary: Up to $90k plus super per annum (depending on experience).

To be suitable for this role you must have proven experience in software development combined with strong practical experience with the following technologies:

  • PHP 5 or 7
  • MySQL or Oracle or MSSQL
  • JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5

Preferably but not essentially you will have experience with:

  • PHP Frameworks (Symfony, CakePHP or Yii)
  • JavaScript Frameworks (jQuery, AngularJS)
  • PostgreSQL 9+ PL/SQL
  • Unit Testing (PHPUnit, Codeception)

Applicants must have:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Full working rights in Australia (sponsorship will not be provided)
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work within an expanding team environment
  • Self-starter that can work under minimum supervision and contribute ideas to the product
  • Highly developed problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong OO design principals and structured development approach
