An opportunity has arisen for a people focused National Payroll Manager to manage a large team and overall payroll operations for the company.
The Role:
The National Payroll Manager will oversee the end to end national payroll function for the organisation and be responsible for driving several process improvement initiatives and change, whilst creating a culture of high performance within the team. Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Ensuring employees are paid in an timely & accurate manner
- Identifying opportunities for payroll processes
- Ensuring team are working in an efficient manner
- Ensuring Sarbanes Oxley Compliance requirements are met
- Management of a large team
- Mentoring, coaching and development of staff
- Management and interpretation of Enterprise Agreements
Requirements:
A professional and personable individual, to be considered, you must demonstrate the following:
- Experience working in a complex environment with Awards/EBAs
- Exceptional communication skills
- The ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders & team
- Problem solving skills
- Strong time sheeting & payroll system skills
- Understanding of all Payroll statutory requirements
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work to strict deadlines
- The ability to work autonomously
- Solutions focused and pro-active approach
- Management and coaching of a large team
