Our client who is a well-known University located in Melbourne is currently searching for multiple Oracle developers to join their team. Experience with and plSQL is a must.
These roles are intended for established Oracle developers with experience in data warehousing (or related fields) to support UDS in developing projects based on existing data warehouses.
Successful candidates will undertake smaller agile projects in collaboration with other data/reporting specialists at UDS until 2023 where they will be required to be involved in a large-scale multi year project.
In this role you will be required to:
- Work with business-facing specialists to understand requirements.
- Prepare technical specifications (when necessary).
- Work with data modelers to develop solutions.
- Develop and unit test code as required within well-established UDS standards.
- Assist system testing and deployment of code.
To Succeed in this Role You Will Need:
- Experience as an Oracle plSQL developer, including in
- Complex corporate environments.
- Ability to contribute to design and communicate effectively to
- management level stakeholders.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision.
- Experience in tertiary education and data/reporting processes are highly desirable.
