Job Description
Role:
- Contribute to the Java development of various applications within the Risk Management business unit
- Design, develop, test and implement new applications on the public cloud
- Team-focused environment with an emphasis on quality and DevOps principles
- Work on a varied technology stack including new web services and APIs in java
- Collaborate with the team open to working on production support and coordinating severe incidents
- Solid Core Java development expertise –version 8
- Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture
- RDMS, SQL and JPA skills
- Experience developing RESTful APIs using JSON/JAX-RS
- Cloud technologies e.g. AWS, OpenStack a plus
- Trading industry sector knowledge highly beneficial
- Team player, collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
