Job Description
Our top-tiered Banking client are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join their Cyber Security team.
Role:
- Design, develop and run systems that help aggregate data from various sources
- Work closely with the security, platform and application teams to improve the reporting required by the business
- Act as second level support to respond to and resolve incidents surrounding security tools/solutions deployed
- Innovate and automate new functionality in products and/or enhancements
- Collaborate with the team in providing insight into emerging technologies to help support the cyber security team improve in its efficiency
- Agile development approach with a good attitude open to "pitching in" when required
Key Skills:
- Solid Core Java development experience
- Cloud computing environments (AWS preferred)
- API design/ Microservices architecture
- Familiarity with containers such as Kubernetes
- Agile working environment past projects
- Financial industry project experience a plus
- Team player, collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
This is an initial 6 month contract which is likely to extend due to the project pipeline in place.
