Job Description

A well established Insurance company we work closely with is currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect, you will be working on a large and exciting transition project. This is initially a 12 month fixed term contract position with view of extention and based in Sydney CBD.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help drive strategic and tactical infrastructure solutions required for the integration activities supporting the acquisition.
  • Work with other technology workstreams, including Solution Architecture, to develop target state infrastructure solutions for transition of acquired systems
  • Guide Infrastructure Systems Integrators and vendors through the design, implementation and operational transition of the infrastructure solutions
  • Working with business and technology stakeholders to establish key business drivers for change, build business cases and develop a platform strategy and roadmaps for Infrastructure

Requirments:

  • You will have both a deep and wide knowledge of IT infrastructure platforms and operational practices and the critical role it plays in successfully integrating technology systems
  • 10+ years as an Infrastructure Architect
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in design and implementation utilising public cloud platforms
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills
  • Experience working in Finance Services Industry (desirable)
