Job Description

HR Generalist
  • Permanent full time opportunity 
  • Sydney CBD location - WFH 1 day a week 
  • $100,000 + Super + PBI
Sirius People are currently working with a prominent industry leader in the not-for-profit sector. You will be working in a team-based environment, collaborating with people leaders and employees across all business units. Responsibilities include hiring and interviewing staff for all business functions, reviewing remuneration, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Reporting to the CFO/Director of Corporate services, your main tasks will include: 
  • Recruitment - interviewing, hiring staff, inductions, recognition programs
  • Reviewing - remuneration, benefits, leave, background checks, training, and development
  • Handle employee inquiries - internal and external 
  • Oversee and coordinate performance appraisals, terminations, and discipline matters
  • Adhoc duties as required 
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws 
  • Solid written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
  • High sense of urgency and is a strong team player
  • Tertiary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration
