Job Description

Job Purpose:

The primary purpose of the role is to provide outstanding Member focused solutions that streamline processes through use of technology solutions combined with continual process improvement to enhance both the Member and Employee experience. This role is responsible for creating and implementing our client's technology vision and plan, ensuring it aligns and their strategy and helps supports its departments to deliver their services and business.

This role directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT and digital systems in support of business operations in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality and business development. This role requires a person to be technically hands-on as well as having management and planning experience to ensure the development and management of the existing technology, people and assets to create and maintain optimal levels of internal customer service capability and external member services.

Overview:

The focus of the IT and Digital team is to provide an optimal level of reliable and available services covering technology leadership, support, advice, guidance, hardware, software, audio-visual, telephony, infrastructure, and project management for digital services.

Our client's computing environment is primarily Cloud based. The Servers are hosted in an AWS environment and around 120 staff connect via Citrix desktops. The operating systems are Windows 10 and Server 2016. The internal network utilizes gigabit redundant WAN connections to AWS and the internet to provide connectivity for data and the hosted Skype VOIP system. A range of software packages provide support for a professional association including iMIS CRM, Kentico CMS, Office365, Adobe Creative Suite and educational content creation tools. The environment includes audiovisual and wifi systems to support on premise and webinar based educational training and seminars for internal members and the public.

Experience Required:

A background as a senior operational IT professional in a medium commercially focused organisation. An ability to add value across the entire Digital Services and IT Portfolio. Proven experience in creating overall technology and digital strategy, managing customer service improvement, developing & implementing new software and hardware solutions, managing application software & hardware vendors, building a high performing team, enabling change, driving operational and process efficiencies, and building the confidence & trust of a very diverse senior stakeholder group.

  • Extensive understanding of CMS and CRM platforms including integration
  • Strong aptitude for digital metrics
  • Sound knowledge of Website Analytics, such as Google Analytics
  • Strong knowledge of HTML
  • Experience in project managing a website rebuild,

Qualifications:
Degree level qualifications in Information Technology or Computer Sciences or similar

Maximum salary on offer: $150k package per annum (due to the organisation being a non for profit you will benefit from partial salary sacrificing tax deductions!)
