Role and responsibilities:
- Analyse, implement, improve and maintain technical plant monitoring, alerts, provisioning and capacity management
- Set the standards for release and deployment practices
- Document and communicate production changes
- Automate recurring tasks and eliminate issues
- Contribute to design, build and integration testing for large scale distributed applications
- Drive continuous improvement through bug follow-ups and root-cause analysis
- Working with multiple dev teams and enabling fast delivery of complex inter-dependent changes
- Influential in changing our SDLC processes
- Linux and basic Linux sys admin capabilities, including Bash scripting
- Experience using source control systems
- Working knowledge of Python, good understanding of OOP ability to write and test Python apps
- The ability to interact and design REST-like services
- Have strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Cloud and Infrastructure as Code technologies
- Demonstrating proficiency in Java, C and/or C++
- Large scale data processing tools like Elastic Search and add-on tools like Kibana, Logstash
