Job Description
My client, a Global Leader in its field, is looking for a Java Systems Engineer to be a part of a growing and successful team which is an integral part in project delivery.
Use your skills and expertise to:
- Deploy applications in web and application servers
- Create deployment guides for deployment
- Utilise the solution design to develop system designs for deployment of solutions
- Liaise with cross functional teams such as infrastructure and product support, to implement and integrate project solutions
- Stress test applications
- Test code through unit testing and debugging
Mast have skills:
- Knowledge of Tomcat, WebLogic and WebSphere application servers
- Working knowledge of setting up Web servers such as Apache HTTP Servers, IBM HIS HTTP servers and IIS Servers
- Scripting and Linux operating systems
- Able to provide level 2 and 3 support
- Experience with Middleware
Personal skills:
- Can manage competing priorities
- Team player with a positive can do attitude
- Strong problem solving skills
